ENTERPRISE PLASTICS Enterprise Plastics, Inc.’s roots extend back to 1952 when Colonial Patterns began as a pattern shop, specializing in crafting precision patterns to support the then booming foundry industry. As the peak of that industry began to wane, those same skills and equipment were adapted to the creation of prototypes and duplicating models. Also, during that time, proprietary high temperature epoxy tooling for both prototype blow molding and injection molding were developed and utilized. As new technology in machining became available, it was embraced wherever practical and integrated into our shop. That adaptation continued in our growth into precision aluminum prototype tooling. Our customers demanded more and more injection molding tooling and the sampling of it. Once again bringing us into yet another field as we became injection molders. As we increased our molding, we demonstrated our strength in accommodating exotic development programs and production jobs. The 2003 formation of Enterprise Plastics resulted, through our significant continued growth. Enterprise Plastics is now a fully capable manufacturing facility, with the ability and capacity to accommodate customer projects from concept development through turn-key molding, assembly, packaging, and delivery.
